YOUR LAST MORNING WITH A PAINFUL JOINT!

  • Take all medications as instructed
  • Instructions regarding WHEN and WHERE to arrive will be given to you by the Clinic/Hospital leading up to your surgery
  • Please bring the following with you to the hospital on the day of surgery:
    • Photo ID, Insurance card
    • Cane, Crutches, or walker. Don’t worry if you do not have these items, they will be provided for you.
    • Appropriate dress
      • Loose fitting pants with an elastic waistband
      • Shoes with a non-skid sole that you can easily put on and off, keeping in mind swelling in your feet may be present
  • What should I leave at home?
    • Jewelry
    • Money/valuables
    • Contact lenses (please wear glasses)
    • Medications

IF YOU WERE GIVEN A REFERRAL FOR PHYSICAL THERAPY AT YOUR VISIT, PLEASE CONTACT THEM AND SCHEDULE THERAPY NOW TO START 10-17 DAYS AFTER SURGERY FOR 2 TIMES A WEEK, FOR 6 WEEKS.
